Rosa Parks Essays (779 words) - Montgomery Bus Boycott,

Rosa Parks Racism and prejudice have been dominant issues in the United States for many years. Being such a major issue is society, racism is also a major theme in one of the best pieces of American Literature, To Kill A Mockingbird. People, particularly African Americans, have been denied basic human rights such as getting a fair trial, eating in a certain restaurant, or sitting in certain seats of public buses. However, in 1955 a woman named Rosa Parks took a stand, or more correctly took a seat, on a public bus in Montgomery, Alabama. She refused to give her seat to a white man and was arrested for not doing so. The reasons and consequences and the significance of her stand are comparable in many ways to Atticus Finch's stand in To Kill A Mockingbird. Rosa Parks worked for the equality of all people. She was elected secretary of the Montgomery branch of the National Advancement of Colored People, unsuccessfully attempted to vote many times to prove her point of discrimination, and had numerous encounters with bus drivers who discriminated against blacks. She was weary of the discrimination she faced due to the Jim Crow laws, which were laws were intended to prohibit black[Americans] from mixing with white [Americans] (Jim Crow Laws1). Also, due to the Jim Crow laws, blacks were required to give their seats to white passengers if there were no more empty seats. This is exactly what happened on December 1, 1955. On her way home from work, Rosa Parks refused to give her seat to a white man and was shortly arrested (National Women's Hall of Fame1). Even though she knew what the consequences were for refusing to leave her seat, she decided to take a stand against a wrong that was the norm in society. She knew that she would be arrested , yet she decided that she would try to make a change. Although her arrest would seem like she lost her battle, what followed would be her victory. Rosa Parks's stand was so significant that she is called the mother of the civil rights movement (National Women's Hall of Fame1). Her arrest served as a catalyst for a massive boycott for public busses. Led by Martin Luther King, for 381 days, African Americans carpooled, walked, or found other ways of transportation. Despite the harassment everyone involved in the movement faced, the boycott continued and was extremely successful. The bus company suffered from the loss of fares, but did not desegregate its busses. In 1965, the case was brought to court, and segregation of busses was ruled unconstitutional, the busses were officially desegregated on December 21, 1956 (Microsoft Corporation1) . The movement Rosa Parks started climaxed with the Civil Rights act of 1964 and the Voting Rights act of 1965. She received many tributes and awards, such as the NAACP's Spingarn Medal in 1970 and the Martin Luther King Jr. Award in 1980( Microsoft Corporation1). Rosa Parks's stand is significa nt to our society because she showed us that one person can help so many other people by standing up for what they believe in. Rosa Parks's stand is not very different from Atticus Finch's stand in To Kill A Mockingbird. Their reasons for taking a stand are generally the same, they wanted to help their societies. Both knew they would face criticism and harassment, yet they still tried to make a change. Although the times were different and they were two different people, they both tried to change a backwards society. Instead of people being equal in the land of the free, some people were considered more superior than others. However, when they tried, both succeeded. Maybe Rosa Parks's stand got results more quickly, but Atticus's stand laid the foundation for change. They also had courage for taking their stands. Atticus's definition of courage is to know you won't win before you start, but still start and still try ( ). Even though in the long run they both win, the direct consequences are negative. Rosa Parks still got arrested and Atticus Finch still lost his case; they both lost before they started. Last ly, both are considered heroes in their societies. The reasons, consequences, and significance of Park's stand are

It will help you strategically plan your new product launch so you know exactly what needs to be done and when. Be Brave and Push Boundaries Easier said than done, right? If Apple can do it, can’t we all? The answer is yes. Your product may not change the world, but it is going to be life changing  to your customers, and you need to position it that way. Marketers, listen up. If you aren’t involved in the product ideation process, that needs to change. You know your target audience’s needs just as well as anyone else at your company, if not better. Launch something your competitors haven’t because if you don’t push boundaries, you aren’t going to grow. Simple as that. Once you have a bomb product to launch, your product launch marketing campaign will speak for itself. Make Your Launch Campaign Emotional Emotions drive purchasing behaviors and decision making. Throwing facts at your target audience about your new product isn’t enough to make people buy and spark up emotion. If it was, we would all be rich. No matter what your product or service is, this step is applicable to you. Whether you’re selling a slinky or migraine medication, your product can be tied to an emotion. A slinky is a much more light-hearted and fun product, while migraine medication takes away pain, resulting in happiness. The point is that both products cause some type of emotion. Keep in mind that people purchase products to solve a problem. These problems that they have are frustrating, inconvenient, and annoying. Even if they are just bored because they don’t have a fun slinky to play with. 😉 If your marketing campaign shows them how your new product can make that feeling go away, that’s where the money’s at. Build Hype for Your Product Launch Remember when Universal announced The Wizarding World of Harry Potter? Can you imagine how many people planned their vacations to Florida as soon as the announcement came out? Or the number of days that people dreamed of going there before it even opened? That, my friend, is called hype. Now, you may not be launching something comparable to Harry Potter World, but your product is awesome and valuable, and your target audience needs to be excited about it. It’s your job to make them excited! There’s something about not knowing all of the facts and details that make people want to know even more. Make sure to build up the well-deserved hype for your product and make people anticipate the arrival of it. [Tweet â€Å"Pre-order sales can make up to 23% of your total revenue for your new product. #marketingstrategy†] I know for a fact that I’ve pre-ordered something because I don’t want to risk the chance of it running out when it goes live. Loyal customers trust your company so much that when you launch a new product and build up so much hype around it, that’s enough for them to hit purchase. So make sure you implement a solid pre-order purchase well before your product launches. Use Influencers to Build Hype As social media grows, the use of influencers is growing right beside it. I think we can all admit that we’ve bought something recommended on a social platform, I know I have. To find influencers that are a good fit for your product, you’ll have to do a lot of research. When choosing influencers to work with, there are four main traits  you want to look at: Niche Reach Engagement Reputation You need to find an influencer with a similar following to your target audience, which you can gauge by the type of products and information the influencer is currently sharing. While reach is important, it isn’t the only thing you should look at. Just because it looks like someone has a lot of followers and a large reach, doesn’t mean that they have quality followers. The engagement that they are getting on their posts and content will show you if their followers have real connections with the influencer. Real connections = $$$. Lastly, check out their reputation. If you decide to work with this person, customers are going to associate your product with them. Make sure they are honest, trustworthy, and respectable so that they can represent your product well. You can start using influencers in the early stages of your product. Let them test it out, give feedback, and become familiar enough with your product so that they can honestly recommend it. Also, make sure that they are involved in the campaign before pre-orders so they can help build up that hype. Alrighty, marketers. You officially know how to plan a successful new product launch campaign. If you want some inspiration to get you started, we’ve put together a list of ten successful examples and key takeaways from their campaigns.

Quotes That Show Macbeths Intentions

Quotes That Show Macbeth's Intentions The motor that drives the tragedy of Shakespeares  Macbeth  is the lead character’s ambition. It is his primary character flaw and the trait that causes this brave soldier to murder his way to power. Early on in the famous play,  King Duncan hears of Macbeth’s heroics at war and bestows the title Thane of Cawdor on him. The current Thane of Cawdor has been deemed a traitor and the king orders him to be killed.  When Macbeth is made Thane of Cawdor, he believes that the kingship is not far off in his future. He writes a letter to his wife announcing the  prophecies, and it is actually Lady Macbeth who fans the flames of ambition as the play progresses. The two conspire to kill King Duncan so that Macbeth can ascend to the throne. Despite his initial reservations about the plan, Macbeth agrees, and, sure enough, he is named king after Duncans death. Everything that follows is simply the repercussion of Macbeths unbridled ambition. Both he and Lady Macbeth are plagued by visions of their wicked deeds, which eventually drive them insane. Brave Macbeth When  Macbeth  first appears at the start of the play, he is brave, honorable, and moral- qualities that he sheds as the play develops. He comes on the scene soon after a  battle, where an injured soldier reports Macbeth’s heroic deeds and famously labels him â€Å"brave Macbeth†: For brave Macbeth- well he deserves that name- Disdaining Fortune, with his brandishd steel,Which smoked with bloody execution,Like valours minion carved out his passageTill he faced the slave.(Act 1, Scene 2) Macbeth is presented as a man of action who steps up when he is needed, and a man of kindness and love when he is away from the battlefield. His wife, Lady Macbeth, adores him for his loving nature: Yet do I fear thy nature;It is too full o th milk of human kindnessTo catch the nearest way. Thou wouldst be great,Art not without ambition, but withoutThe illness should attend it.(Act 1, Scene 5) Vaulting Ambition An encounter with the three witches changes everything. Their premonition that Macbeth â€Å"shalt be king hereafter† triggers his ambition- and leads to murderous consequences. Macbeth makes clear that ambition drives his actions, stating as early as Act 1 that his sense of ambition is â€Å"vaulting†: I have no spurTo prick the sides onlyVaulting ambition, which oerleaps itselfAnd falls on the other.(Act 1, Scene 7) When Macbeth makes plans to murder King Duncan, his moral code is still evident- but it is beginning to be corrupted by his ambition. In this quote, the reader can see Macbeth struggling with the evil he is about to commit: My thought, whose murder yet is but fantastical,Shakes so my single state of man that functionIs smotherd in surmise.(Act 1, Scene 3) Later in the same scene, he says: Why do I yield to that suggestionWhose horrid image doth unfix my hair,And make my seated heart knock at my ribs,Against the use of nature?(Act 1, Scene 3) But, as was made apparent at the beginning of the play, Macbeth is a man of action, and this vice supersedes his moral conscience. It is this trait that enables his ambitious desires. As his character develops throughout the play, action eclipses Macbeths morals. With each murder, his moral conscience is suppressed, and he never struggles with subsequent murders as much as he does with killing Duncan. By the end of the play, Macbeth kills Lady Macduff and her children without hesitation. Macbeth’s Guilt Shakespeare does not let Macbeth get off too lightly. Before long, he is plagued with guilt: Macbeth starts hallucinating;  he sees the ghost of murdered Banquo, and he hears voices: Methought I heard a voice cry Sleep no more!Macbeth does murder sleep.(Act 2, Scene 1) This quote reflects the fact that Macbeth murdered Duncan in his sleep. The voices are nothing more than Macbeth’s moral conscience seeping through, no longer able to be suppressed. Macbeth also hallucinates the murder weapons, creating one of the play’s most famous quotes: Is this a dagger which I see before me,The handle toward my hand?(Act 2, Scene 1) In the same act, Ross, Macduffs cousin, sees right through Macbeths unbridled ambition and predicts where it will lead: to Macbeth becoming  king. Gainst nature still!Thriftless ambition, that will ravin upThine own lives means! Then tis most likeThe sovereignty will fall upon Macbeth.(Act 2, Scene 4) Macbeths Fall Near the end of the play, the audience catches a glimpse of the brave soldier who appeared at the beginning. In one of Shakespeare’s most beautiful speeches, Macbeth admits that he is short on time. The armies have amassed outside the castle and there is no way he can win, but he does what any man of action would do: fight. In this speech, Macbeth realizes that time ticks on regardless and that his actions will be lost to time: Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrowCreeps in this petty pace from day to dayTo the last syllable of recorded timeAnd all our yesterdays have lighted foolsThe way to dusty death.(Act 5, Scene 5) Macbeth seems to realize in this speech the cost of his unchecked ambition. But it is too late: There is no reversing the consequences of his evil opportunism.

9.11 Cover-ups :: September 11th 911 9/11

As it is known on September 11th of 2001, the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and building 7 were affected by terrorist attacks, or were they? The Twin Towers were both collapse so was the building 7 which was located next to the north and south tower. The Pentagon was just struck on one side of it but didn’t do as much damage. Over 3,000 innocent people were intentionally killed, thousands of solders were killed and other thousands were injured. To start off small, the skyscraper known as building 7 was not hit by an airplane, it was made up of steel and was only 47 stories high. It is said that that it collapsed at 5:30 pm. In the videos shown, on a website called ReOpen911.org, shows as well as many other videos that the building collapsed in a form on which a building would be like in a controlled demolition. There were also no fires what so ever. The lease holder of the World Trade Center (WTC) Larry Silverstein said in a video himself that he ordered The New York fire de partment to â€Å"pull it†. This term means that they must destroy the building with explosives. The south tower collapsed in only one hour of burning and the north collapsed in two hours of burning. This is strange because the towers were well build, actually they were the best build towers known to man a tower in the Meridian Plaza in Philadelphia was burning for almost nineteen hours and didn’t collapse. It all seems suspicious. They say maybe the jet fuel was the thing that made it collapse but they also said the plane tank was practically empty. The smoke also indicates that it was carbon based fumes and couldn’t reach the temperature any higher then 1,800 degrees ferinheight, and steel melts at over two thousand degrees ferinheight. The clean up crew of the WTC found melted steels in the basement of the towers. There is an explosive that is well known to melt steel easily and it’s called C4. Then to top it off, all the evidence that was very importa nt was illegally destroyed. The investigators did no research on the items of the building. One weird thing happened to very little money was put into the investigation of the WTC which was only $600,000 and the investigation of Clinton’s affair cost $40 million.

Willowbrook Reflections

Twenty-Five Years After Willower People born with intellectual disabilities and/or special needs have always been a sensitive topic in society for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a friend with Cerebral Palsy and have known people with Down syndrome, and I know the burden both the individual and families carry. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and have lived here all my life; and I have never heard of ‘Willower the institution†. This film left me with many emotions: anger, sadness, concerned and most of all wary.Families entrusted Willower to do the right thing. Families were promised education, proper treatment, and essentially a better life for those who were Intellectually disabled. The conditions and reality wealth Holbrook were anything but that. The Individuals were treated with cruelty, negligence and a lack of compassion. With the overwhelming amount of patients, government cuts were made, creating an even worse environment. Many patients became sick. Cond itions worsen and some even died. Granted, in the sass's there was a stigma to â€Å"mental retardation† and ignorance to many disorders or conditions.However, this serves no justice in treating people in an inhumane fashion. Families did not know how to help their son or daughter, some were embarrassed and ashamed. These families felt Willower was the answer. I can't help but to draw a connection between Willower and our education system. Parents trust us teachers with their children and believe the school will take every measure to help their child succeed. Policies must be made to protect the rights of individuals with special needs. People like Patti, Luis, and Bernard are beautiful, amazing individuals. They require only patience, love, and compassion. GeraldRiviera said â€Å"All people need is humanity and compassion†, and special education needs reform and continue to improve. Inspiration of the Bible

Divine inspiration of Bible, its significance is taken out for one of the most important reasons is the usage of Bible inspiration as an important element in the Scripture. It develop together all the accounts of Scripture and provides the most with value. The notion of the disputes according the Scripture point and inspiration case is carried throughout Orton Wiley's Christian Theology. Wiley entered the dispute pretending to show the false meaning of the Bible . He clearly stated that â€Å"only three worthy monarchs, the kings have gathered a faith in their hands. It means that, they forced our Faith and put it into a false and unworthy position before God and man. † (Wiley, 6). He put the strong critique and abuse towards the Church's prerogatives: â€Å"The Reformers themselves have fought earnestly to maintain the balance between the formal and the material rules of every day life. At the end the formal principal has superseded the material, so people began unconsciously to substitute the written, God-breathed Word for Christ by the Living Word. They have divorced the written word from the Personal God's Word and thus were put into a false position. It was no longer the guidance from God, his speech, the Spirit's presence, but just a recorded speech which bound men by legal rather than spiritual bonds. Nowadays people knowledge became formal rather than spiritual. The understanding of God became less true and real. It is not a consequence that Christ appeared to them as a historical figure, but not a Living Reality; and people sought more for a Knowledge of God's will than for God Himself. They gave more attention to creeds than to Christ. † (Wiley 2). This paper is purposed discuss the importance of inspiration and the Bible as the God-breathed word. One of the most specific attentions in inspiration doctrine is paid to the content of the person's doctrine of Scripture. It indicates the divine activity bringing scripture to the real life. Generally the doctrine of inspiration shows us the role of God in the life process. Secondly the idea of inspiration stresses on the place where everyone stands in the whole critical enterprise. Nowadays it has become one of the most disputable topics of the modern theological field. The core point to disputes lays in the way to find out which doctrine has been used recently in the biblical researches. The objective of this work is to explore the inspiration theory's development and the position of the major part of modern theologians who support the Methodist tradition. Current field of study claims for more research and investigation to be done in the future. At beginning of the century an inspiration tradition experienced the powerful pressure from the side of different religious confessions. (Wiley 6) At those times it was difficult to find anyone who was willing to express their feelings combining a comprehensive and right account of inspiration. So there was a fruitful field for appearing the rival knowledge of doctrines related to inspiration theme and their development. In the early years of the twentieth century this tandem was replaced by pluralism and this fact was confirmed within the United Methodist Church of America. Olin Curtis (1850-1918) and Henry Sheldon (1845 – 1928) have brought us the blowing wind of changes. According to Dr. Curtis studying the special revelation as the very essence of the Christian faith helps us to recognize the traditional, rather apologetic claims for miracle. Here is a guarantee that revelation was inadequate as has been developed by his forebears. Dr, Curtis claims â€Å"the miracles are not created by a judicious defense or supernatural activity, he stresses that they are the acts of God, performed in his extraordinary way. The inspiration knowledge by Curtis seems to be a dynamic and essential system, which exists in the peace and consequence with God illuminating his inner life and acting vitally for Christian brotherhood and love. Dr. Curtis rejects the necessity of inerrant Bible implementing. (Curtis 177). In order to go through our investigation completely and to reach the target we need to answer the question: â€Å"What, actually, do we mean, by the inspiration? † The word inspiration firstly appeared in usage in Timothy 3:16, where we can read: â€Å"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness† (Henry 129). Following the word's etymology , we can assume that â€Å"inspired† is translated from the Greek as theopnuestos that means â€Å"God-breathed†. Some of translations give us the samples which could be adopted as â€Å"ex-spired† or â€Å"breathed out†. Looking through the Biblical sense of inspiration the firstly comes the idea that writers created exactly the things need to be written for God. This idea is supported in Peter 1: 20-21, where it is clearly stated that â€Å"no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will. Well known theologian Carl Henry gives the work definition to inspiration as â€Å"a supernatural influence upon the divinely chosen prophets and apostles. So, the Spirit of God assures the truth and trustworthiness of their verbal and written proclamation†. According to his definition the writers who created the manuscripts were divinely â€Å"supervised† by the Holy Spirit choosing the necessary words and phrases used in their works. Although some places were totally dictated to writers, Finally the process of inspiration has been spread to every word of every known book and of the Bible, as the main source of people's knowledge. Jesus opened this destiny to us, stating that inspiration is extended to the very words (Matt. 5:18). Following the discussion presented by Paul Merritt Bassett in his case study it is necessary to admit that Orton Wiley (our main opponent for current paper) shows us no slight doubt about the Bible as the primary source of Christian theology. He stated that â€Å"the Holy Scriptures constitute the quarry out of which are mined the glorious truths utilized in constructing the edifice of Christian doctrine† (Wiley 89). At the same time he has expressed some sort of ambiguity here because he told that â€Å"in a deeper sense, Jesus Christ, our Lord is Himself the fullest revelation of God. He is the Word of God-the outlived and outspoken thought of the Eternal. While we honor the Scriptures in giving them a place as our primary source.. Christ, must ever be held in proper relation to the Bible, the written Word. If the letter would be vital and dynamic, we must through the Holy Spirit, be ever attuned to that living One whose matchless words, incomparable deeds, and vicarious death constitute the great theme of that Book of books† (Wiley 90). Following our dispute I need to stress that even from the historical point of view the first place in the analysis of inspiration's doctrine belongs to Bible. Scripture has its important place in the investigation but before turning to Scripture it will be a right thing to do to look to the institute of church throughout the history. From this point of view the understanding of liberal scholars will be easier and we will receive the opportunity to see whose position is in going with our opponents in the faith. Until the 19th century the church, as the essential institute, traditionally held the principals of inspiration of Scripture. Dr. Warfield, the famous theologian, said that â€Å"Christendom has always reposed upon the belief that the utterances of this book are properly oracles of God† (Warfield 141). In the 16th century the great reformers Martin Luther and John Calvin expressed their recognition of the divine source and authority of Scripture. The importance of inspiration is expressed in 2 Timothy 3:17. It says that all Scripture is God-breathed, so there is no place for error in it. In 2 Timothy 3 Paul also states about the importance of protection against the false teaching, the apostasy. To be firm in the truth of our faith and in Christ we should obtain the firm basis, because there are many people who are opposed to truth, â€Å"the evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived† (v. 13). All Christians â€Å"who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted† (v. 2). The Bible as the faith foundation cannot contain any errors. The entire Bible as a God-breathed book teaches us â€Å"correct, reprove, and train in righteousness†. So following the Bible we are adequate, and equipped for every good work. From the very beginning the Christian Church led us to the doctrine of verbal, plenary inspiration. People who denied the fact that the Bible reflects the true word of God had no basis, no additional foundation un derneath their faith. The Bible is the standard to judge us and our activity and we are not the judges of Bible at any times. Summarizing the ideas it is necessary to admit that the people who read the Bible are led by Holy Spirit, who confirmed to every single person that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, the message from Him. One of the strongest evidences of the Bible as the God's word is the Book survival and influence during the last two centuries while all the multiplied attempts to destroy it have failed. The proclamations of Scripture are approved by our life experience, for example, the practical changes in the life of societies and individuals are evidential and true. The testimonial character of Scripture has found the confirmation in many areas and fields of the modern life. Even despite all these obvious evidences we have described above, if we were are not able to prove the inspiration of the Bible to anyone and to bring any serious foundation underneath our faith, we still can share its message, answer questions, help people to open their minds and hearts. Free sample - Music. translation missing

Music. MusicOutline I. Introduction The term Haram implies â€Å"an act which is prohibited.† II. What are some of the reasons that some Muslims consider music to be Haram? There are a number of reasons which explain why some Muslims consider music to be Haram.    Introduction The term Haram implies â€Å"an act which is prohibited.† This is in accordance with the Islamic religion. The followers of this religion (the Muslims) consider the act of listening to any kind of music for instance, Soul, Religious, or even Rhythm and Blue to be an offense. Also, according to them, Islamic religion prohibits whichever form of singing, and usage of musical gadget(s) during this process. These acts according to this religion are enough reasons for disgusting our hearts. They are also responsible for waning it (the heart) (Miller and Shahriari 10). What are some of the reasons that some Muslims consider music to be Haram? There are a number of reasons which explain why some Muslims consider music to be Haram. One, in the holy book of Islam (the Koran), it is written that â€Å"any person who procures/buys redundant talks with the sole-purpose of giving fellow human being(s) the wrong impression regarding what God has commanded via ridicule shall severely be punished.† Scores of Islamic studies academicians across the globe have interpreted the expression ‘redundant or idle talk’. To them, this expression implies ‘chanting/singing’ (Hamditabligh). Two, in one occasion, Prophet Mohammed said that â€Å"some Muslims deemed a number of societal vices to be legitimate.† These include adultery, and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Others are donning of silk regalia and usage of musical gadgets during worship. He further stated that several followers of the religion shall stay out at the foothills of the ton/mountain from sun up to sun down waiting for the arrival of the marshals/shepherds. They shall be compelled to do this so as to pose a number of queries. However, the marshals shall inform them to go back to their respective places of residences, and return to the foothills the following day. Mohammed noted that â€Å"God shall completely destroy these followers throughout the night. Furthermore, he (Allah or God) shall use his superpowers to permit the ton to descend on them thereby destroying them completely (Hamditabligh). Mohammed in addition noted that Allah shall perform miracles and change those followers who will not have been destroyed into certain wild and domestic animals. These include monkeys and pigs. The transformed individuals shall stay in this form till renaissance. Many Muslim leaders and Islamic studies specialists have interpreted these remarks. They have suggested that Mohammed considered usage of musical gadgets to be illegitimate, and therefore no Muslim should attempt to do so. One of the specialists is Ibn Al-Qayyim. He authored a book which is known as ‘Ighathat Al-Lahfan.’ In this book, he argues that â€Å"Mohammed banned these vices, but mankind didn’t heed to this prohibition, and continues to perceive them (the vices) as legitimate† (Hamditabligh). Three, during his lifetime, Prophet Mohammed was asked by one of his follower â€Å"why he had stated that those individuals who worshipped, and offered sacrifices to God including those who believe that he (Mohammed) is Gods’ herald, and those who follow all the other Islamic teachings and laws shall be changed into animals.† The Prophet (Mohammed) answered him that this â€Å"is owing to their utilization of musical gadgets during worship.† Four, it is written in the holy book of Islam that God censured the worship of ‘Kuffar’s’ at a place called ‘Kaa’bah’. This implies that Allah, censured/criticized those Muslims who revered him at this place since they practiced ‘Muka'an’. Furthermore, they practiced ‘Tasdiyah’. In accordance with well known Islamic studies scholars, the term ‘Muka'an’ implies shrilling or whistling. The term ‘Tasdiyah’ on the other hand implies applauding/clapping of hands during singing. Five, it has well been documented by well known Islamic religion experts that the act of listening to any kind of music is a significant contributor to the reinforcement of the Devilish customs, and therefore, qualifies to be Haram. Also, they have argued that there is no single occasion in which the Messenger of God (Mohammed) in his lifetime together with his cohorts assembled so as to sing. In this regard, the academicians conclude that â€Å"no Muslim should partake in any form of singing.† Six, some Muslims argue that this act (of listening to music) over the radio and more has a higher likelihood of making the sentiments/emotions of the listener to turn out to be less zealous once he or she hears Islamic teachings. Scores of the followers of this religion also argue that musical gadgets/instruments belong to the devil.   Due to this reason, any person who pays attention to them (the musical instruments) shall thereafter boogie/dance very much. This person will on a prayer session pray rapidly. He-or she shall in addition pray while sitting as opposed to kneeling (Scott 23). Seven, Islamic religion requires every Muslim to declaim/recite the holy book during worship. However, according to well known academicians, any person who listens to music shall suffer from a number of mental disorders which will not allow him-or her to declaim it in the correct way. This individual will not fancy paying special attention to the holy book. He-or she cannot understand facts written in it (the Koran) during recitation. Secondly, the scholars have argued that the music listener cannot have any palate/flavor for it. Therefore, this person shan’t have adoration for the Koran. As a result, he or she will not derive gratification while studying it (the holy book). Eight, according to some Muslims, it is well written in the book of Ayah (Chapter forty three (43), and verse thirty six) that â€Å"any Muslim who commits sin will be made the Devils’ comrade by God.† Owing to the fact that most Muslims consider music to be Haram, then any person who listens to it shall be made the Devils’ comrade (Hamditabligh). Nine, some Imams have argued that the devil utilizes a number of tactics so as to ensnare those Muslims whose faith in Allah (God) is extremely low. Among them (the tactics) are clapping of hands during singing, and whistling.   These persons usually fail to follow Islamic teachings to the later owing to two main attributes. One of them is the lack of acumen. The second one is inadequate seriousness. Due to these attributes, most of these persons utilize musical gadgets. Also, they listen to music which is considered to be Haram. According to them, such persons engage in sinful acts. Moreover, they refuse to comply with laws that have been set out by our creator (Allah). These Imams have reiterated that the act of listening to music is similar to engaging in irresponsible sexual behaviors. These include incest, lesbianism, and sodomy. Others are infidelity and bestiality. Ten, some Imams have stated that Music is similar to Allah’s enemy (the devil). Also, they regard music to be a contributor of sour relationship between a person who listens to it, and our creator (Allah). They have squabbled/argued that Allah’s enemy has made those individuals whose allegiance to Allah is low to fall in love with chanting-or singing. He has also furnished them with misleading facts as a result of which they (music listeners) end up utilizing them as proof for the pleasure derived during singing. To them, all music listeners shall with time start following Allah’s enemy teachings. Due to this, they will cease reading the Koran so as to concentrate on these teachings (Devil’s teachings). They have squabbled that those people who have reached this stage normally rest in a cool place or inside the house, switch on the radio or the television, and permit their souls to pay attention to music. As a consequence, the devil in the form of music will make their souls to be extremely excited. Furthermore, he will make them to boogie/dance similar to a prostitute, or a male homosexual. Eleven, some of them have suggested that the act of listening to music makes the listener to appear as if he-or she has consumed an alcoholic beverage. This makes the listener’s soul to be split into debris. Also, it makes him-or her to craft an assortment of jokes regarding the Islamic religion. Music is also believed to be palatable to them as compared to the Islamic teachings. Muslims believe that if an individual listens to these teachings as opposed to music, then he or she shall not be punished by Allah. Twelve, Islamic religion considers music to be Allah’s enemy holy book. Most Imams across the globe have constantly reiterated that all those individuals who pay special attention to music do vend the good things offered to them by God to his enemy.   It is similar to a trader who buys a product at a certain price, and sells it at a loss. Therefore, it is needless for a person to listen to music or sing since he or she is likely to encounter immense losses. However, a person will derive the greatest delight when he or she recites the Koran (Miller and Shahriari 24). Thirteen, there is a Muslim Sheikh who was requested to make a comment regarding music. His name is Abdulaziz Bin Baz. The Muslim cleric argued that he only listens to music to derive gratification from it. As far as wedding ceremonies are concerned, Abdulaziz clarified that singers should only make use of Tambourine during singing. He stressed that this instrument should specifically be played by female adults. Fourteen, some Muslims argue it is a type of a game meant only to create fun. Due to this reason, they squabble that it does not contribute to the sacred growth of the listener and, thus inconsequential. Finally, some Muslims have stated that a lonesome person who is listening to any kind of music turns out to be more lonesome. On the other hand, a millionaire or a billionaire will feel extremely elated when listening to music. This means that the act of listening to music escalates the sadness in a sad individual. It also makes a glad person happier (Islam Newsroom).
